A Week On Ready Meals From Marks And Spencer - Day 1 Fish Pie

Are you a lover of ready meals? Do you find time is precious when you arrive home after a busy day and just want 'something quick and easy to prepare'?

Are you a lover of ready meals? Do you find time is precious when you arrive home after a busy day and just want 'something quick and easy to prepare'?

I have bought seven meals from the wide and varied Marks and Spencer food range and  and would like to share my findings with you. I am a big lover of fish, so I thought a great way to begin my week would be with a fish dish!

This meal comes from the 'Gastropub - The Collection' - range and with 483 calories in total, it is not a heavy meal.

The main ingredients in this dish are potatoes (40%) Cod (14%) King Prawns (8%) Smoked Haddock (5%)  Salmon (5%) Other ingredients are spinach, cheese, parsley, onions, white wine and butter.

Taking 25 mins to cook in a Fan oven 180C, Electric 200C, or Gas Mark 6, it is a quick and easy meal.

Calories Salt Fibre Carbohydrate Sugar Fat Protein
483 2.20g 3.4g 39.1g 2.1g 20.6g (of which saturates) 9.7g 33.6g

Now to enjoy!

I added a portion of sweet corn to accompany the fish pie. I think this is a tasty and balanced meal and one that I will buy again. This meal is part of the 2 for £8 Mix and Match Gastropub range.

Although the meal is a bit expensive at £4.50 to buy separately, it is worth treating yourself every so often isn't it especially when the end result is satisfying!
