Review Of The Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide Chrome Edition

When it comes to men choosing how to shave, a great product is certainly an advantage!

I can remember the words in the advert - 'Gillette, the best a man can get.' What I didn't realise is that the company has been around since 1900!

Stylish design

The Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide Chrome Edition razor features 5 anti-friction blades for a shave you barely feel, and a chrome effect handle that lets you shave in style. With FlexBall technology, the ProGlide responds to contours and gets virtually every hair. There is a Precision Trimmer on the back which gives accurate edging and is great for hard-to-reach areas. One blade can last up to one month. If you have owned a previous Fusion razor, the blades fit all models.

For an excellent shave, use with Fusion5 ProShield Chill refills. These blades prevent irritation to the skin and have a cooling effect.

Before shaving

After shaving

As Derek said to me after using this razor and blades for the first time, 'I will definitely be buying these chill blades again to go with my Fusion 5 ProGlide razor. My only niggle is that the handle may be a bit slippy for people with dexterity problems as it does not grip as well as I would have liked.'

There is a wealth of history to be found on the Gillette website. See here and here. Well worth a read!

There are many different Fusion razors to choose from at various prices. You can buy this version from Amazon which also includes an extra 4 blades for only £12.74 by clicking on above image.

Notes From The Lost by Cathie Hartigan

Two young friends go to war, but only one makes it home. Why is he not welcomed?

In modern-day Exeter, Ros discovers what happened,

but in doing so reveals long-held family secrets.

For better, or for worse?

"a gripping and well-researched WW2 story, full of heart and emotion. Ros didn't just hold her own future in her hands,

she held the destiny of the people that she now knew as friends."

What an incredible story.

I loved the songs, felt like I could hear

the music and adored the ending.

Truly a wonderful read."
